Creative Writing
Creative Writing is an immersive course designed to develop the foundational skills necessary to craft compelling fiction. Through a combination of imagination and lived experience, students will learn to bring characters and settings to life, drawing readers into vivid, emotionally resonant stories. The course covers essential elements of short story and novel writing, including creating powerful openings, building believable characters, mastering dialogue, and constructing engaging plots with effective structure and twists. Students will also explore key techniques such as viewpoint, flashback, and pacing, gaining the tools to shape their narratives with clarity and intrigue. This course offers practical guidance and thoughtful feedback to help you transform your ideas into dynamic fiction. With each assignment, students will move closer to developing a distinctive style and a confident, authentic literary voice.
