What does it take to effectively manage a language classroom? In this fully asynchronous course, you will explore a range of high-leverage instructional practices, with a focus on Standard 8 of the Vermont Core Standards for Teachers. Coursework includes discussion of multimodal materials, analyses of videos of your teaching, career preparation activities, and collaborative reflection prompts. The course culminates in an overarching reflection on your instructional practice abilities, which will feed into the development of your Vermont Licensure Portfolio. Successful completion of the portfolio is required for conferral of the MAT degree and recommendation for licensure.
