What does it mean to be an effective, professional language teacher? And how can you best represent your skills? In this fully asynchronous course, you will use evidence to describe, analyze, and reflect on Vermont’s 10 Core Teaching Standards. Coursework includes discussion of multimodal materials, action plan development, and iterative drafting of the three sections of the Vermont Licensure Portfolio. The course culminates in a polished portfolio incorporating materials from your student teaching placement. Successful completion of the portfolio is required for conferral of the MAT degree and recommendation for licensure.
