Hebrew for Lifelong Learners

This three-week course uses a curriculum designed specifically for adult students within the immersion environment of the Middlebury Language Schools and the Language Pledge. Our focus on the spoken language encourages rapid mastery of Modern Hebrew grammar and vocabulary. By the end of three weeks, it is anticipated that students will be able to converse, not only about daily life topics such as food, weather and family, but will also be able to compare, contrast and express opinions on an intermediate-high to advanced-low level. Moreover, students will create narratives with an ability to speak about topics beyond the immediate surroundings, using all tenses as well as asking informative questions about other peoples’ narratives. This narrative will be documented so we can share the journey and have data on each student’s progress. Expected dialogue length is several paragraphs
