<strong>Modern Literature and Avant-Garde in America Latina</strong><br />

In this course we will study and analyze the emergence of modern forms of visual art and narratives in two crucial periods of the 20th Century; the moment of emergence of the historical Avant-garde in 1920 and its return in the 60’s. Objects of our discussion will be short pieces -short stories, essays and poems-, and various types of images such as photography, paintings, and films. (1 unit)<br />
