In this course, we will be learning about iconic soviet cartoons that have become an essential part of the Russian-speaking world, deeply engraved in the cultural semiosphere and woven into the very fabric of the language. We will be discussing the symbolic significance of the plots and images as well as unpacking lyrics and learning some of the songs by heart as part of the rigorous conversation and writing practice and activities.
