Information Warfare in Post-Soviet Russia: History, Strategy, and Tactics

Since 2000, the information environment of post-Soviet Russia has (d)evolved in a predictable fashion. Students will participate in role-playing exercises and games, including a longform capstone module, to test their grasp of the covered material. Students will also conduct written and verbal analysis of information activity to diagnose tactics and strategy, divine intent, and evaluate effectiveness.
