Advanced Social Psychology

This course expands on basic knowledge of social psychology and the social cognitive processes that underlie our perceptions and behaviors. We will discuss research findings, methodology, and practical implications. Students will design research projects that integrate existing findings into an applied program or intervention of their own design to address a real-world issue. Practical applications of social psychological theory and research will be used to address contemporary social issues. (PSYC 0105 and PSYC 202 and PSYC 203; open to Psychology majors only; others by waiver) 3 hrs. lect.
