A Day in the Life of Middlebury

In this course students will be introduced to various communication channels at Middlebury College (e.g. Midd Magazine, Midd Stories, social media posts, etc.) that they will use to pitch a story to reflect a day in the life of Middlebury. Students will learn how to use journalism and photography to chronicle the quotidian daily life of the College community--everything from physics colloquia to making snow at the Bowl. Students' work will contribute to a final publication as they build upon their own interviewing and writing skills. Instructor approval is required.
