It has been over forty years since the modern era of international terrorism began with the first airplane hijackings by the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine in 1968. Through lectures and case studies, this course examines how the U.S. government has assessed, ignored, managed and confronted international terrorism from Lyndon Johnson through George W. Bush.
