Exploring the Arab World-2 is a course that is designed for students at the intermediate level to develop student’s understanding of the Arabic language and culture. It introduces the language of print, internet, and TV news media to students of Arabic and provides them with the basic skills required for understanding spoken and written language. It will cover a wide range of topics such as politics, economics, geography, security, society, culture, and science.

This course focuses on developing student’s proficiency in listening, reading, speaking, writing as communication skills by using authentic online and published newspaper/magazine materials and TV/radio news. Students are expected to follow, on a regular basis, the most current events taking place in the Arab world!
