The scope and scale of threats in cyberspace has increased 650% in the last 5 years. Both the private and public sectors are being bombarded with a variety of attacks from a wide range of global actors. The information security industry is in free-fall seemingly incapable of stopping any targeted attacks. A handful of States have announced their intention to stand up cyber militias composed of its civilian population. Over 30 States are creating Cyber Commands similar to the one created by the U.S. Department of Defense and that number is growing on a monthly basis. This two-day workshop will identify who the state and non-state actors are, what they're doing, and what can be done about it in a fast-paced, non-technical way.
