This course provides a foundation in the core concepts and tools in transforming a supply chain to operate more sustainably within the context of the Food and Agriculture sector. The central aim is to prepare students to understand the landscape of supply chain sustainability, to understand the tools and strategies commonly utilized, and to apply tools to identify sustainability risks. Students will think critically through the design of a strategy to achieve sustainability goals in line with ESG and climate change commitments, Sustainable Development Goals, and within an evolving national and international policy environment. Students will gain practice in utilizing industry tools and applying course principles to case studies in the Food and Agriculture sector.
