Career management is an essential life skill whether you are just starting along your career trajectory or a mid-career professional. Our Career Management Workshop synthesizes your academic and professional goals, preparing you for future internship and job opportunities. Together we will build upon your strengths to hone your personal brand and professional documents, and practice networking in order to gain internship and job opportunities. Topics covered will include: Personal Branding, Professional Documents, and Networking. This course is highly recommended for first-semester students; although, students in any semester are welcome. No tuition is charged for this non-credit course. All students are welcome in this course, although advisors teaching the course support the EPM, IEM, IPD, NPTS, MPA, and Trade (i.e., Policy) programs. In the Spring the Career Management Workshop is held as a Friday afternoon workshop, from 12:30-4:30pm. The course meeting will end with a networking happy hour. This course includes some asynchronous assigned work on Canvas prior to the course meeting.
