This course explores the political and economic dynamics shaping international trade and global finance. It covers key issues in trade (goods and services), investment (production location and flow), and finance (capital flow and exchange rates).

The course is divided into three parts: International Trade – Examines trade theories, policies, institutions, and their effects on global competition and supply chains. Second, Global Finance – Focuses on macroeconomic topics like balance of payments, exchange rates, and international financial policy. Third, Integration of Trade and Finance – Analyzes how trade policies affect financial markets (stocks, bonds, debt, exchange rates), and vice versa.

Designed for students interested in government, international organizations, global business, NGOs, and policy consulting, the course equips students with practical knowledge and analytical tools. No prerequisites required; key theories will be introduced throughout the semester.
