AI for Localization Mgmt
This course explores how artificial intelligence is transforming localization beyond machine translation. Building on previous Translation Technology coursework, students will examine AI’s role in a well-rounded globalization program, from automating language adaptation, to shaping strategy and providing impactful data analysis. The course will enforce effective prompting discipline that will be put to the test in live scenarios including content transformations, interactive UX prototyping, and AI-powered multimedia production. Through a series of hands-on activities, students will learn to leverage generative AI and LLMs for efficient, innovative localization solutions that were previously out of reach.
