This course sequence is designed for students with no previous instruction or functional ability in Abenaki. Students are exposed to intensive instruction to develop their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.



Courses are designed to familiarize students with the rich Abenaki literature tradition and use a wide range of traditional and contemporary games, dances, and other group activities.
