Team Building Facilitation
Team Building Facilitation
Discover the power of play as a catalyst for human connection and team development in this experiential course, which invites laughter, creativity, and problem-solving. Through hands-on participation, students will learn to design and lead engaging team building exercises that enhance group communication and cooperation. Emphasis is placed on students developing skills to organize, facilitate, and debrief experiences to build strong, collaborative teams. Grounded in Kolb’s Experiential Learning Theory, this course integrates class experiences, personal reflection, and discussions on leadership and facilitation. Students will draw from instructor-provided resources and the following books: 101 Team Building Exercises (Otten) and The Art & Science of Facilitation (Acker). Ideal for student leaders, future educators, and those seeking meaningful connection with classmates.
