By critically examining current implementation efforts, the course highlights diverse pathways and solutions and explores ideas for improvement. The course is structured around California Against the Sea: Visions for Our Vanishing Coastline by Rosanna Xia. Using this book as a foundation, we will explore key questions: Who are the changemakers? What new ideas are emerging? How do these concepts apply globally? What perspectives are missing?
