This course is designed for students to deepen their storytelling competencies and develop engaging presentation skills. This course is open to all students—and is of special interest to those seeking EAPP credits, those pursuing the Creative Media Specialization in TRLM and students in the TIAG track. Students will consider and develop multiple storytelling strategies to tell effective stories for a specific purpose. Students will discover which techniques and styles are most conducive to their specific audience and purpose. An introduction to the ArcGIS Story mapping tool will be included as an option for digital storytelling. This course is offered for 2 units/ credits, so students’ full participation and consistent attendance is critical to success in the course.
