This course focuses on three overarching themes: (1) education, (2) human rights and (3) social justice,

and their interconnections with systemic educational inequity and exclusion, racism, discrimination

against women and children, and poverty. We will relate our thematic investigations to issues of the

Francophone world as well as the broader global context.
